Dr. Elochukwu Adibo is of a humble background from a first-class royal monarch in Ugwoba,
Enugu State. Nigeria.
He is an internationally Certified Biomedical Scientist with a great wealth of experience from the
international and Nigerian Medical Industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Technology in
Microbiology, Master of Science in Microbiology (UNILAG).
He acquired further Post-graduate training in Medical Laboratory Science from Lagos University
Teaching Hospital (LUTH), specializing in Histo/Cytopathology where he graduated as the best
student in his set. He has also undergone several specialty trainings in Health Safety and
Environment in United Kingdom and Nigeria. He is currently undergoing his PhD Studies.
Elochukwu is a member of the prestigious Institute of Biomedical Science, Royal Microscopic
Society both in the UK. He is on the register of the HealthCare Professional Council in the UK.
He is also a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership of the United States of

He has served as Technical Assistant for Health and Safety in the ‘Coal to Power’ project team
under Professor P.O Okeke; the Special Adviser on Coal Matters to the former Minister of Power
Prof. Barth Nnaji. He has a good number of publication and presentation to his credit.
He is a recipient of numerous awards for Leadership and quality practice. He is currently the
National President of the Guild of Private Medical Laboratory Directors of Nigeria (GMLD) having
been the National Advocacy Committee Chairperson where he championed so many advocacy
programs at Government, NGOs, Implementation Partners and private levels for both
Communicable and Non-Communicable Disease including Tuberculosis where he has had
extensive training and impact.
He is a noble philanthropist and is happily married with a daughter.
